General Medicine: Senanayake app for iPhone and iPad

These 150 multiple choice self-assessment questions are designed to complement the revised and updated third edition of the text Clinical Cases in General Medicine by Sanjaya Senanayake, formerly known as Pocket Guide to Internship: Common Clinical Cases.

Published in 2015, the text Clinical Cases in General Medicine provides a means for medical students and junior doctors to broaden their clinical experience. The new edition retains the problem-based learning approach that has made it such a popular reference for medical students, interns and residents. It includes 44 cases showcasing a comprehensive range of common scenarios encountered in emergency departments and hospital wards.

While the app can be used independently of the book, each question is referenced (in the question feedback) to a case number in the book where app users will gain access to detailed case information and a deeper understanding of the reasoning behind the answers.
